When writing about fashion icons I can’t say that a 20 something pop R&B star would be my first choice, but that’s until the world met Rhianna. Topping the charts and pushing the boundaries  are the first impressions this 27 year old diva gives. With 150 million records sold and 8 Grammy awards this Barbadian born beauty is at the top of her game.

Her stardom has brought her a platform to strut her stuff for a world hungry for her image. Young talented and hot Rhianna is a muse for young girls and designers alike. Her sense of style has nothing to do with wearing clothes and more to do with an attitude.

Style is that illusive thing that no one can really describe you either have it or you don’t. Rhianna has it and Rihanna fans are pleased that a biographer is following the singer through her everyday life. The theatrical feature documentary promises to be an “unfiltered look into Rhianna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon.” 

Stardom

The documentary will be one of the first projects for new production company Film 45, which has just been launched by filmmaker Peter Berg (who made Lone Survivor). Peter, who gave Rhianna her first ever acting role in the film Battleship, said that he liked the idea of examining “a young artist at the top of her professional field”. The documentary will be “much more a character study than a music film”. We can’t wait.
