FLORAL PRINT TRENDS
While monochrome is in style, floral prints and patterns appear everywhere for fall and winter. Therefore , with all the fall 2017-18 floral prints we are exposed to, who would stick to only monochromes? In my opinion the array fo colorful and bold floral prints demands our full attention . Therefore appearing on pantsuits ,long dresses, day wear or party dresses the floral prints are colorful and bold.
The cooler winter weather often calls for dark and subdued colors . Therefore bright yellow and pink Chinoiserie prints, for example, are not be expected for fall and winter. However there are always exceptions and happily for us this year is one. Since designers like Alesandro Michele at Gucci , is using bright florals. At the same time floralss are colorful and bold at Pucci , Mary Katrantzou , and Coach all showing bright cheerful florals .

This is a perfect piece from the Gucci Collection to show the pattern power. Therefore this charming floral dress with classic collar and cuffs. illustrates my love for prints this fall. In fact this dress shows the new power of Gucci as the top of the luxury clothing market.
Showcasing the maximalist aesthetic of Alessandro Michele's collections, this Gucci gown depicts scenes taken from traditional Chinese porcelain embellished with a blue and red sequin embroidered Web detail and detachable bow brooch, a pleated front bib, decorative faux pearl and chain buttons and a dramatic ruffle trim to the neck and cuffs. This porcelain garden print Gucci gown is the ultimate show-stopping dress for formal engagement.
Emilio Pucci opened his first store in Capri in 1949, serving up kaleidoscopic printed dresses that by the '60s had become signifiers of a jet-set lifestyle recognisable well beyond Italian vacation destinations.Hence capturing Pucci's classy spirit, this keyhole-front printed dress oozes high-octane glamour. In fact Pucci is made in Italy. Therefore this dress is made from a body-skimming silk jersey printed with the house's signature swirls of colours.
This navy and tonal-yellow silk floral-jacquard Madelena dress encapsulates Altuzarra's modern take on elegance perfectly. First revealed on the AW17 runway, the feminine silhouette is the product of fine Italian craftsmanship, complete with puff sleeves and gathered shoulder seams, and is finished with chunky faux-pearl buttons.
DOLCE & GABBANA
Dolce & Gabbana's black floral-print silk-blend charmeuse dress is beautifully accented with black floral-lace across the cuffs and hem. The product of exquisite Italian craftsmanship, it's cut to a svelte silhouette with a nipped-in waist, and gently flares out from the knee in softly defined panels.
Delpozo's mahogany-brown floral-print silk dress is a spellbinding piece for evening events, as well as a feat of magnificent craftsmanship. It's cut with a subtle V-neck, notch lapels, and voluminous three-quarter length sleeves, and falls into a floor-skimming skirt, finished with an exquisite purple-silk organza lining. The sculptural shape is a nod towards creative director Joseph Font's architectural background.
