Self Portrait is the a brand that so many love. In the first place this brand is cool and affordable. Of course affordable is relative , however this brand gives you great bang for your buck . Whenever I look at a collection my first question is does it reflect the season. In my opinion Self Portrait is great at doing just that . First I'm sure we all have a favorite season , mine is spring. Straightaway I love the rebirth of everything , the plants , the flowers , the birds all coming out after winter. Therefore I love spring collections the most . Moreover certain brands seem to blossom in their spring and resort collections. Significantly Self Portrait is a brand that does just that . Since I found Self Portrait there has not been a collection that I didn't love. What is Self Portrait about.

In these spring / resort collections Self Portrait is stocked with great options for special-occasion dressing. In particular long dresses, short dresses, statement tops and great slim pants fit for social events. Blouses and skirts, and a few separates that could pass for day wear, but would be dressed-up by most standards. Notably Chong used the fun of the late Seventies and early Eighties as his reference. Explicitly Mick and Bianca Jagger were name-checked in show notes. However Chong works with polka dots, star prints, sculpted ruffles and lace modernizing his collection.
