KATY PERRY ON T.V.

Katy Perry is a judge on this years reboot of American Idol. Since I watched American Idol years ago and stumbled upon it this year I decided to watch. While I watched the show in the past there had been a revolving door of hosts. In fact the wide variance of people included Ellen Degeneres , the feuding Mariah Carey and Nikki Minaj ,and the fabulous JLo. Therefore I wasn't surprised to see Katy Perry take on this job .

While I do keep up with some of the latest music , I tend to be a lover of classic jazz. Therefore I can't say I'm that familiar with  Katy Perry . However I have always heard her music here and there and am aware of her bright and varied stage costumes and clothes. Moreover darlings I read a lot of magazines and am well aware of who I thought Katy Perry was.  To put it another way I thought of Katy Perry as a tacky singer who catered to tweenie girls and prepubescent boys.

Therefore I was pleasantly surprised when she came across as a funny , well rounded , talented woman. Since she is now 33 she has probably matured , and maybe toned down her style. With this in mind , I'm probably wrong , she's joyful ,funny and wears  a wide array of fabulous fashion.

KATY PERRY'S FABULOUS STYLE

Since many of you know me , you know that I love fashion that is fun. Furthermore there seems to be a lot of feathers, sequins and bright colors in fashion right now. When looking for fun fashion why not be a little more outrageous and playful.That sums up Katy Perry. However I can't say I like everything she wears , but that's not true of anyone .  However I will say that for fun looks Katy is a great inspiration for your party looks. In a word disco is back. Since I'm happily married and a homebody it's along time since I danced the night away . But I know well the day's of disco nights and walks of shame so for my readers who love the nightlife  this post for you.

Certainly I have chosen looks that are recent ,most of them are from this year of American Idol. Therefore I'll show you Katy's look and give you some great options .

Katy Perry was a vision in lavender when she appeared on the latest episode of ‘American Idol’ in LA. There was a time when the songstress’s colourful, kaleidoscope style could have been pegged as a bit kitschy. But, here, the ‘American Idol’ judge has proven that sophistication and a playful colour spectrum don’t have to be mutually exclusive. I love how her petal-pink pixie cut resonated with this pastel Romona Keveža lilac gown that scintillated with paillettes—the chandelier earrings offering the final glam touch

KATY PERRY WEARS VERSACE

Whether you would like to wear pieces from the Versace Spring collection depends on your style and and your references. Since the Versace 2018 Spring collection pays tribute to the last 20 years of the legendary fashion house. In fact Katy Perry has a big enough presence to wear head to toe Versace in their Wild Baroque print .While it may appear over done on some Ms Perry  handles it all and then some.

Darlings I searched my partners to find the exact dress Katy is wearing in these shots. When choosing a great dress of course the fit is most important. In fact look at the fit of this lovely lame dress by Area Clara on Katy , the fit is near perfect. Occasionally you'll be able to find a brand that fits you perfectly , otherwise find a good seamstress , they could become your new BFF. To sum it up I  love this dress .

Certainly  sequins are on trend this year. In fact sequins have made their way into day wear . Whether Ms. Perry got the memo or not she seems to be a lover of pailette's . Since her part in American Idol is the perfect opportunity to dress-up ,many watch to see her wardrobe . Therefore I wasn't surprised to see her wear this fabulous rainbow dress from Attico.

First sequins are not for everyone , but they should be. Since I started writing this post I've been wondering what outfits would be the most popular. KATY PERRY IN CONCLUSION

Generally speaking I'm not a pop music groupie . However like all gay guy's I love Madonna even if she's not around much any more .  Since I never went for the other major gay pop star Brittany Spears , I need someone to call diva . Therefore I've decided on Katy Perry . First I really love her personality on American Idol . Second  I really like some of her music ;ie "I Kissed A Girl  ", "Hey Hey Hey" ,"Swish Swish" and " Chain to the Rhythm ".  Third and important to realize is I love Katy's wacky, weird and awesome style .  Furthermore she has a fun sense of dressing . In conclusion a lot of what I've shown is perfect for the girl going out on the town. Therefore choose your favorite pieces, you don't have to be a pop star to dress like one.
